If you've ever been injured training for a marathon, limped through the back half of a triathlon on a dodgy knee, or been told by a physio to "just rest" without any real plan — this is for you.
We've been treating endurance athletes at SportsFit for years. Runners, triathletes, cyclists, swimmers, OCR athletes. And what we kept noticing was a gap — not in the quality of physiotherapy available in Sydney, but in its specificity. Most clinics treat a runner the same way they treat someone who hurt their back picking up a box. The assessment might be fine. The hands-on treatment might be fine. But the programming, the return-to-run criteria, the understanding of what training actually looks like for an endurance athlete — that's where things often fall short.
So we built Triduro.
What Triduro Is
Triduro is SportsFit's dedicated endurance sport program. It brings together sport-specific physiotherapy, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, and objective performance testing under one roof at our Five Dock clinic.
The name comes from the three core disciplines of triathlon — swim, bike, run — and "duro," meaning endurance. But the program isn't just for triathletes. It's for anyone whose sport is measured in time, distance, or sustained effort.
The goal is simple: keep endurance athletes training, help injured ones return faster, and make healthy ones more durable.

What Makes It Different
A few things set Triduro apart from a standard physiotherapy offering.
Specificity. Every program is built around the demands of your sport. Running injury rehabilitation looks different from cycling rehabilitation, which looks different from swim shoulder management. We don't use generic templates.
Objective testing. We use AXIT force plates, the VALD ForceFrame, and a validated return-to-run testing battery to make return-to-sport decisions based on data — not calendar timelines. If your quad symmetry is at 78% six months post-op, you're not ready to run. We'll tell you that, and we'll have a plan to get you there.
The anti-gravity treadmill. One of a small number of BTL Anti-Gravity Treadmills in Sydney's Inner West sits in our Five Dock performance gym. For runners managing stress fractures, bone stress injuries, or early post-surgical loading, this changes what rehabilitation looks like. You can maintain running mechanics, cardiovascular fitness, and neuromuscular patterns weeks earlier than traditional rehab allows — at whatever bodyweight percentage your body needs.
Shockwave therapy. Achilles tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis are among the most common injuries in endurance sport, and they're notoriously stubborn. Our BTL shockwave device delivers evidence-based treatment that stimulates biological healing in tendons that have stopped responding to load management alone.
A proper gym. Our performance gym is 220 sqm, equipped with four squat racks, a sled, ski erg, assault bike, rowing machine, flywheel trainer, VBT device, and a full range of strength equipment. This isn't a treatment room with a resistance band drawer. Endurance athletes need to do real strength work, and we have the space and equipment to programme it properly.
Who It's For
Triduro is for endurance athletes at every level — from parkrun regulars to elite triathletes. You don't have to be competitive to deserve sport-specific care.
If you're currently injured — dealing with a stress fracture, tendinopathy, ITB syndrome, or coming back from surgery — the Triduro rehab program is the starting point.
If you're healthy but want structured support to get faster, more durable, or better prepared for a key event, our performance programming is built around your specific sport, training load, and goals.
And if you're somewhere in between — managing a niggly injury while trying to keep training — that's exactly what Triduro is designed to navigate.
