Pitch Ready
At SportsFit, we are proud to have partnered up with Pitch Ready, to help our clients with lower limb injuries return to sport with the least possible risk of injury
Pitch Ready is the gold standard in injury reduction strategies and rehabilitation analysis.Pitch Ready is the culmination of 10 years’ research and development and over 30 years’ experience in professional sport. In 2019, Pitch Ready was short-listed in the Yahoo Sports Technology Awards in London under the category “Best Technology for Athlete Welfare”.
With a focus on pre-injury reduction and return-to-sport (RTS) testing at its core, Pitch Ready is suitable for both elite as well as non-elite athletes from a multitude of competitive sports, including youth and open-age categories.
A Pitch Ready testing session involves doing a series of tests within our clinic. We then amalgamate these tests, and send it to Pitch Ready.
They analyse the results, and send us back a report containing
-
What the client did well
-
Where the client can improve on
-
How there data compare to normative data of someone of a similar age/gender playing in a similar sport
Armed with this knowledge, we can give you feedback on whether you are safe to return to sport.

Decreased Risk of Reinjury
Pitch Ready has completed over
350 Pitch Ready Clinic tests with a current ACL (and contralateral) re-injury rate of only 3.2%* for those that
normalise capacity testing criteria. This compares favourably to published research which was typically conducted
using smaller sample sizes and much higher rates of re-injury. All injury and return to sport data will be the subject
of future published research.
