Prak Sharma
High Performance Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach
Prak is a Physiotherapist and ASCA-accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with experience across elite and high-performance sporting environments. He has worked as the Pathways Physiotherapist for the North Sydney Bears Rugby League and has also supported the Sydney Kings NBL squad, Sydney Premier AFL clubs including the South West Sydney Blues and Pennant Hills Demons, as well as NPL football programs.
A NSW Premier cricketer since 2015 and specialist cricket coach at The King’s School, Prakhar brings first-hand insight into the demands of high-level sport, alongside a thorough understanding of the complexities and nuances of cricket-specific rehabilitation.
Prakhar enjoys treating a wide range of conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, ankle sprains, muscle strains, bone stress injuries, and working with basketball and cricket athletes. His experience across the rehabilitation–performance continuum has included managing acute injuries, delivering strength and conditioning programs, and guiding athletes through end-stage, field-based rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Prakhar competes for the Sydney University Cricket Club, enjoys playing or watching basketball, and is always searching for Sydney’s best food and coffee.
