Jay Kasthuri
Principal & Sports Physiotherapist
Jay founded SportsFit Health and Rehab with a clear vision: build a clinic where athletes are treated by people who actually understand sport. As an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist — one of the most rigorous titles in Australian physiotherapy — Jay brings a level of expertise that goes well beyond the treatment table.
His NRL credentials speak for themselves. Jay has served as a Sports Physiotherapist for both the Wests Tigers RLFC and the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, working across the full spectrum from Elite Pathways (U16–U21) through to the NRL. That experience — strapping, diagnosing, and rehabilitating players in high-pressure professional environments — is the foundation that shapes how SportsFit operates today.
Away from the clinic, Jay is currently the physiotherapist for South Sydney Rabbitohs NSW Cup Side and a lecturer for Macquarie University, contributing to the education of the next generation of physiotherapists.
His specialist areas include ACL rehabilitation and shoulder injuries, and his approach is the same whether you're a professional athlete or a weekend warrior: objective, thorough, and built around getting you back to what you love — faster, and more confidently than before.
